How long does charging take?
At our DC fast-charging points (120–240 kW), most EVs charge from 20% to 80% in 22–30 minutes on average. A full charge can take 45–60 minutes; the battery management system slows the final 20% to protect the pack.
How do I start a charging session?
Download the Checkpoint app, register, then scan the QR code at the station or enter the station number in the app to start the session. Payment is charged automatically to your saved card.
How can I see whether a station is available?
The map screen in the app shows real-time occupancy. Green = available, yellow = freeing up shortly, red = occupied. You can also set an availability notification.
What do I need to do to install a Checkpoint station at my business?
Fill in the application form in the Partnership section. The full process — site analysis, contract, installation and operation — takes 4–6 weeks. We share our detailed revenue model after your application.
How do I pay for charging?
The debit or credit card you add during registration is charged automatically at the end of the session. Your invoice is emailed to you and the full history is available in the app.
Which socket type suits my car?
Most modern EVs in Türkiye use Type 2 (AC) and CCS Combo 2 (DC). Checkpoint DC fast chargers use CCS Combo 2, and AC stations use the IEC 62196 Type 2 socket. Models that require a CHAdeMO socket (Nissan Leaf and similar) cannot use DC fast charging on our network.
